This program is designed to increase your Mental Fitness so you can increasingly handle the most stressful, painful and challenging life circumstances with more ease and flow.

What is Mental Fitness?

Mental Fitness is part of a transformative program called Positive Intelligence® which was developed by synthesizing the latest research from neuroscience, cognitive behavior therapy, performance science and positive psychology. The founders then added additional research based on work with:

⁃            Hundreds of CEOs and their executive teams, 

⁃            Stanford students, 

⁃            World class athletes, and

⁃            500,000 participants from 50 different countries

From this research, breakthrough tools were discovered to strengthen the parts of the brain that serve you and weaken the parts of the brain that sabotage you. 

How Do You Self-Sabotage?

Negative emotions are typically generated from little voices in your head called Saboteurs. All people have saboteurs because they develop from strengths we are born with as well as life circumstances. When overused, your strengths become your saboteurs.

Go From Self-Sabotage to Self-Mastery

Positive emotions are typically generated from empathy, creativity, curiosity, love, and calm, clear-headed action.  These emotions reside in a different part of the brain that  Positive Intelligence® labels the Sage brain.  For most of us, the Saboteurs run our lives, not our Sage. 

To go from the Saboteur brain to the Sage brain requires tools to command your brain from one state to the other.  Positive Intelligence ® has identified those tools and will teach you how to build mental muscle. 

How Can I Access This Work? 

We are offering an 8-week Mental Fitness Group Program. This 8-week program is designed similar to a mental fitness intensive, where  the program gives you the insights, motivation, and structure to practice mental fitness 15 minutes per day and to learn about the three core muscles (saboteur interceptor muscle, sage muscle and self-command muscle to shift from saboteur to sage) and how to apply them in your daily life.

The initial 8-week Foundations Program includes:

  • Accountability Coaching Group (POD) max 5 people (minimum of 3)

  • 8 weekly 1-hour live interactive group accountability sessions led by Cydney Hubbard via Zoom

  • 7 weekly  1-hour video sessions led by Shirzad Chamine, PHD.,  author of the book Positive Intelligence and a Stanford University professor

  • 1 full year of access to the Positive Intelligence App to guide your daily focus and mental fitness practice

  • Complimentary Positive Intelligence Audiobook

  • Complimentary Positive Intelligence book (PDF)

  • Enrollment in a global cohort community with other Positive Intelligence participants

This is the right program for you if you are:

c) willing to put in the initial effort to rewire years of mental habits that don’t serve you.

Most attempts at positive change fail because we stop at insight and don’t build habits. Sustained change towards a more positive mind requires laying down neural pathways to form new habits through consistent daily practice. Additionally, your coach and POD group members will provide much needed accountability and support. Research has shown accountability groups are a critical factor for establishing lasting new positive habits of the mind.

Some people believe that negative emotions are helpful. For example, they think stress gives them their performance edge, or beating themselves or others up is helpful for continual improvement.

Feeling pain for a split second when your hand touches a hot stove is indeed useful, delivering an important alert. But your Saboteurs keep your hand on the hot stove, continuing to feel negative emotions which harm both performance and happiness.

In this program we learn to use negative emotions as a helpful alert, and then quickly shift to the positive region of the brain that has the calm clarity, objectivity, and creativity to handle the challenge most effectively.

Cydney Hubbard, PACG, PCC will personally facilitate each of the accountability group meetings (PODs) and will be available to you at all times to answer questions.

Shirzad Chamine, author of Postive Intelligence® will conduct each of the weekly video sessions.

You’d be committing to watching a 1-hour video once per week and doing a combined total of 15 minutes per day of practice guided by the Positive Intelligence app exclusively designed for this program. In addition, you’ll have a weekly accountability group meeting that will last no more than an hour.

This might sound like a lot of time. In fact, cumulatively, it constitutes less than 3% of your awake time for the duration of the program. Please consider that your Saboteurs are costing you far more than 3% of your time, effort, energy, and productivity. Consider how much more than 3% of time and productivity this eight-weeks investment will save for years to come.

You’d never learn to ride a bicycle by reading a book about it. You’ll be asked to read the first 8 chapters of the book while participating in the program. The book provides the research foundation and introduces the tools. The video sessions guide you through experiential exercises that help you personalize the tools to your own personality and needs. And the app coaches you to practice one tool at a time in the context of your own daily work and life challenges.

Your goal is your own. There is no right or wrong. The “why” is extremely important. Please consider what your goal or goals are so you can share them with your accountability coaching group.

Absolutely! Even though the focus of the program is individual development, the support of known-peers or family members can be beneficial. It can also deepen trust, help clear the air related to recurrent conflicts (since most conflicts are generated by Saboteurs), and give participants a common framework for helping each other grow, make decisions, respond to setbacks, and managing conflicts and agendas.

The investment for this program is $1,295.
